Samir Trabelsi is a professor of accounting in the Goodman School of Business - Brock University. He’s the Founding Director of the CPA Ontario Research Excellence Centre. He received his master degree in Accounting from the Tunisian University and obtained his Ph.D. in Accounting from HEC Montreal – Canada.

Pr Trabelsi’ research Interests are in the area of Voluntary disclosure, Corporate governance, risk management, and value creation, Accounting information and stock market efficiency, Earnings quality, earnings conservatism and insider trading Extensible business reporting language (XBRL), E-learning. Samir Trabelsi has a range of papers to his credit in these several fields and he has been a speaker at many international conferences.

 

He has taught a range of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including corporate governance, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Accounting Theory, and Intermediate Accounting.
